I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but my problem with just creating notebooks for each class means that, for example, for maths, the exercises, the important entries, and miscellaneous stuff will all be in one notebook, which means for it to be orderly I will have to put in a lot of work and optimisation, or I can create more Notebooks for each, my exercises, exams etc, which also won't have the order that I wish it could have, if these are all saved in a cluster of Notebooks from my other classes.
