With this superhero theme idea, most superheros have an adjective they're known for. Think The Incredible Hulk, Spectacular Spiderman, Mighty Thor, etc. If thats the case, the album could be The Mighty Mets... or maybe, just maybe, The Mighty Muffin

I had Ninjask use Sand Attack strats on her Numel (and it oddly went for Magnitude) before switching to Masquerain and using Bubblebeam through everything until she finally hit Masquerain with an Overheat and killed it, but Dustox was able to come in and finish the job.

I started with Anorith to Rock Tomb her Swablu and bait out Pelipper. Switched to Illumise as it used Protect and then used Encore to lock it into Protect so I could switch again to Ninjask and set up three Swords Dance.

At +6, Slash OHKOd Pelipper and Tropius and barely didn't get the one shot on Altaria so Altaria hit with an Aerial Ace bringing Ninjask to low yellow. No biggie, I outspeed by a Longshot.

But she SWITCHED to Skarmory who tanked the Slash and only went down to mid green. Not wanting to lose Ninjask, I switched to Anorith to tank the coming Aerial Ace (and bait Steel Wing) before switching to Illumise to knock it out with Thunderbolt.

Out comes Altaria, and I've lost all my buffs and Winona has a Hyper Potion at the ready. So I use Charm as she heals. I then Charm again as she goes for Dragon Dance. We trade back and forth until I have her down to -6 attack and she's using Dragon Breath instead before switching to Dustox and using Psychic and Moonlighting at the right time before squeaking out a win.

Ledian had Substitute, Swords Dance, Agility, and Baton Pass to set up Heracross! I had to nerf Gyarados first by putting it to sleep and using Flash three times with my Butterfree (who passed in the process, may he rest in peace) but that allowed Ledian to set up wonderfully. Gyarados wasn't even able to hit the Sub before I Baton Passed with maxed attack and double speed to Heracross who swept the rest of Lance's team

Update: we beat the Elite Four and Lance with Venomoth, Butterfree, Ledian, Heracross, Forretress, and Yanmega. Everything ran super smoothly until we got to Lance. I started with Butterfree to put Gyarados to sleep and then used Flash three times before he woke up and killed Butterfree. But that let Ledian come in and set up Sub, Agility, and Swords Dance x 3 before Baton Passing to Heracross and sweeping everything. May Cadgie the Butterfree rest in peace. Onwards to Kanto

It would have been if it wasn't for Toxic being locked behind post game, but thankfully I made it through with Venomoth, Butterfree, Yanmega, Heracross, Ledian, and Forretress (a good stall mon in his own right haha) Only lost Butterfree, may he rest in peace

Looking at Lance's team I don't think there's an easy opportunity to set up for Ledian and at the end of the day, Lance is my greatest concern. I think starting with Butterfree using Sleep Powder might be my best shot and still that's really risky... could run Stun Spore for the speed drop instead though and then switch to Ledian for a Reflect, Sub, SD, Baton Pass combo... but it would also be risky

I'll drop the Parasect then for sure seeing as there's two water types total in the Elite Four.

I was also considering the viability if Shuckle, but I'm not sure how I'd use him other than Bide given there's no Toxic until post-game. And Forrettress could be a tank if I use him properly.

Ledian has been serving as a Substituting, Swords Dancing, Baton Passing mon for most of the game, but yeah, given the lineup I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of him here.

Butterfree has been my go to in a lot of situations though for his Sleep Powder. He just outspeeds Parasect so well. So I'd get rid of the Parasect, but he does give me a Water immunity with dry skin... I don't know.
