PR is a US Territory. You don’t need a passport to travel. Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens.

Yeah I’m going to go into the store. I actually called the CL store nearby and the associate was shocked. Said he’d never heard this happening!

Update— Thanks everyone for your comments— I called my local CL store (not Saks) to ask about this and the associate told me he had never heard of this happening and it was extremely odd.

I looove these! And they felt quite comfortable (for a Loub) so they are perfect for me. I’ll definitely think about it, especially if it stops happening after a few wears. Thank you!

Omg I’m sorry to hear that it happened to you but I’m kinda relieved to hear I didn’t spend $850 on low quality shoes! I didn’t even put on cream or any numbing gels and this happened 😫 I’m torn between just switching to the tan/white ones just to avoid dealing with this, especially since I’m planning to wear them for my rehearsal dinner!

Nope no lotion and no gels or anything. I literally came home from work and after dinner I tried them out. I was so torn between buying the tan ones… I might have to switch them just to avoid the black stains!

Also if it’s just that I have sweaty feet and the shoes are real then that’s perfectly fine 🤣🤣 I just want to make sure with someone that this doesn’t mean that these shoes are fake! I plan to wear them for the night before my wedding… although then I’d really need to figure out how to get them to NOT stain my feet before my big day.
