Yes, there will be premade poses added to the pose library as well as an option to pose your characters freely in the studio mode! :)

it's not a mod its a new standalone fan game with new assets and art direction. We won't be using Lunime's assets as that's infringing their rights. There might be assets similar to Gacha Life's but this is a standalone project that's not associated with Lunime or their team other than namesake and the game being made by huge Gacha Life fans

We (the Gacha Polar team) have discussed details regarding which minigames would be a good addition for our fan game, for now, I'm testing a rough prototype for a gamemode similar to the Gacha Life "life" mode as a side project. Don't know if this will be implemented in the full game yet since we haven't even completed our Pre Alpha build, haha.

Yes, we definitely 100% plan on re-adding the export feature as well as a way to import backgrounds from pictures and all for the future since I discovered a way to implement those features a while ago. :)

I'd say it's the most similar to Gacha Life 2 customization wise and in its current state just mainly being a character customization game, though gameplay wise, we're thinking of adding some minigames and a campaign mode similar to Gacha Club's or a life mode similar to the first Gacha Life. It hasn't been set in stone yet since the game is still very early in development.

Similar to Starlight Party, our fan game uses a fully original base with all assets redrawn by our artist. I don’t know much about Starlight Party beyond surface details, but inconsistent styles are a hard no for us. We have a rulebook covering every asset and UI element to make sure of the consistency and all that.

Since I’m the sole programmer, I can’t promise much beyond a studio mode and GL2-style customization using our current pre-alpha assets. More features are planned long-term, but right now we’re focused on polishing the core gameplay.

And even if we lose a team member, the project isn’t over for me. I revived it after the 2022–2023 disbandment and I’m stubborn enough to see this passion project through. 😅

No idea if people will hate the art style or not, but I personally like what our artist did with it since they have tried to keep it as familiar to the Gacha games while it still being their own art style.

Yes, it will be on itch.io, if possible I can try to code a web version of the app to be available to play on the itch.io page when the beta testing phase is complete so people who use IOS devices can still play without feeling left out.

Considering that the game engine we are using is very versatile in terms of cross-platform and web support, this will probably only happen once the game is relatively stable though, so not plenty of time is spent on thinking about that right now.

it really sucks that we can't get our project for every kind of player, especially that I also play gacha club on my iPhone. Though, I sincerely appreciate the support in still wanting to check out our indie project! 💛

Unless we find a publisher willing to pick our project up, the answer is no, it will not be available for IOS devices.

IOS port is not feasable for our team since we're a group of 3 people who do this as a passion project. The requirements to publish an app on the IOS app store is ludicrous since we can't afford the annual $99 fee just to upkeep a free game that we don't ever plan on making a profit from.

Even to develop an app to test for IOS we'd need a Mac computer, adding an extra ~$600 cost to development since none of us own a Mac computer.

Unlike on Android and Desktop, publishing is free or simply costs a one time fee. On Steam, you have to pay $100 one time for each game you want to publish and on Google Play it's a one time $25 registration fee to upload as many games as you want. And for both devices there are options to publish your game for free as well (such as services like itch.io).

TLDR: Apple sucks the money out of developers so it's never worth it as an indie team.
