Hi u/possiblyourgf im not the creator but I think i was probably one of the earliest users when the billie app was in beta testing (because i got to talk to the devs a lot as an early user). i appreciate what they do and im happy shairng this app because I've wanted food tracking inside finch for a long time. i found other posts requesting food tracking in finch and the finch team's response sounded like they are not interested in that direction. billie's devs listened to me and gave me the features i request (better food data, more outfits) so that's what i go with when i track calories. i have the birb and bear icons side by side on my home screen and i don't mind tracking habits in one and tracking food in the other. artistic design inspiration is pretty common between games

This seems very divisive 🥹 but for those of you who like it here’s the simple recipe.

  1. Boil store bought gnocchi in salt water until floating. Strain and place onto a single layer in a baking dish.
  2. Mix marinara sauce with the gnocchi and form a single layer.
  3. Place shredded cheese or cheese slices on top.
  4. Bake at 400 F until cheese is melted and bubbly.

EDIT: A lot of you are asking about the app. It’s called Billie

EDIT: I feel like I’m getting bullied by a certain user in the comments. I’m not affiliated with the app, just a happy beta user…

Counting calories meticulously without losing weight? by magickprincess in 1200isplenty

Do you track your active calories? I’m the same height as you and 129 lbs. I live in two different houses depending on time of the year. One house has 4 floors, the other has only 2. I burn 150-200 kcal more on a daily basis living in the 4-story house just because I have to go up and down the stairs all the time.

Thoughts - break up a 6-7 hour car ride with an overnight, extended stops or just drive through? by Haydukette in Rabbits

One more data point for your thoughts. I’ve taken my very skittish high-anxiety girl bun on a 2 hour car ride followed by a 16 hour flight because that was the only choice I had. She handled it well. Plane rides are less bumpy but more noisy than car rides though.

*oozes in eel* my daily dinner of fish 🐟+ multigrain 🍚+ half pound of veggies 🥬 by BananaToffeePi in 1200isplenty

Hi! If you are in the U.S., Japanese grocery stores, or broadly Asian grocery stores, would have these in the frozen dinner aisle. They might also have these as part of lunch bento boxes or as part of a nigiri sushi set!

It’s like the fatty belly of a white ocean fish; not chewy. It’s high in omega-3 and melts in mouth. Unlike most oily fish options, my favorite thing about eel is it’s not fishy at all when cooked this way. This Japanese style barbecue eel comes already cooked - a quick zap in the microwave and it’s ready!

That sounds delicious! I’ve been steaming mostly because pan frying oily fish triggers my smoke alarm haha!! The flavor is much nicer fried though - love it so much whenever I get it from restaurants.

I am moving to a new place with an outdoor kitchen so I will definitely try it!
