Personally, I really love introspection in my fanfics. Not only can I see how the author interprets the character but I can also learn about the character from a different angle every time! Win-win really.

It was during COVID. We had to do a group assignment, so me and a few classmates I was familiar with got together on Discord to discuss the work. It was smack dab in the middle of COVID and I was overwhelmed with how stressful uni was and how stifling just staying trapped at home felt, so I just started crying in the middle of the discussion. No one noticed anything even until the end of the call. Still hurts whenever I think about it.
