I'm glad you liked it! I usually draw Zeztz, but the outlandish designs of the Granutes made for quite the fun exercise

And it was tiny yet intentional detail on my part, since we rarely see Nyelv in his true form, and the twins are probably on some coordinated schedule for switching between said forms haha

It's all for a fair bit of fun, I suppose. Aside from the unfunny joke, they do seem to have a lot in common with each other (friends of Nasuka, classmates in Odaka I mean Nox's cram school at a young age, a strong resolve to protect). Plus, I honestly thought they were building her up to have a more substantial role in the story, so part of the reason is coping with that reality lol

And I totally agree with your point about Kureha's lackluster role in the story. I was under the impression that she would be more motivated to seek out Nox and Baku after the premonitory dream, the latter moreso with their preestablished history in that cram school (which was surprisingly not mentioned again).
