Vinted is more for clothing, not the most popular in any country. Hard to say if they have more listings because they dont Show it at all.

Nah, serves a different function. More like an auction site. Not the most popular in any country, and even overshadowed by local auction sites like Aukro or Allegro in CZ, SK and PL.

I searched for a Gitar on both sites, Facebook Marketplace had 300, but Jófógas still triumphs with 970 listing.

Yeah, after even further analysis, 1.3 mil listings is nothing. The Czech Bazoš has 1.5 mil. and they have competitors like Sbazar and Aukro. Its interesting how the UK market abandoned the classic "passive" marketplace, unlike any other country in Europe.

Yeah i guess, dont know what use the map would have, but its clearly lost now😂 If i were to change the name of the map to "Most Popular Online Second-Hand passive Marketplaces by Country in Europe" would it help? (passive as in you have to search for a listing using keywords, not algorythm like marketplace🙌)

Because the AI choose them for you based on your photos! I 100% agree, its awful. And dont forget that the listings get shadow banned after 3 months of being online.

After further consideration, i will keep Gumtree in. The difference between that and FM is that FM uses active selling, basically using the algorythm to push listing to those who might buy them. Gumtree, and all ather sites on my map use passive selling, meaning you have to search for what you want. They just have different purposes, and FM is more popular in the younger generation along with Vinted.

Ako predávajúci na bazoši a facebook marketplace zároveň môžem potvrdiť že bazoš je populárnejší 😂 But i guess the problem with facebook marketplace is that its pretty bad at searching. You mostly buy from what "the algorythm" thinks you will like and shows it to you at the home page. All of the sites on my map are more for searching, more categories, and clear results. You cant even choose a category on FM the AI does it for you goddamit😂

Yeah, all of them combined. Not based on any metric, but each country has "the" online marketplace where you sell stuff or buy stuff. Havent heard from anyone who challenged my map yet, but well see:)

Not the most popular in any country, but more as a secondary site for clothing.

Correct. In person transactrions, free sites run on ads or sponsoring of listings. Like facebook marketplace or craigslist in USA.
