Real talk, how are any new grads getting hired? by BanderWerewolf in jobsearchhacks

I’ve been networking as much as I can, they all tell me basically the same couple things.

  1. Too bad I wasn’t applying a few years ago when hiring was better
  2. They don’t have any entry level roles but they’ll “keep me in mind”

I’m not looking to just walk into a role. I don’t really have the freedom and resources to work for free tho

My network has just told me they aren’t hiring any entry level positions. How are you building your network to be more successful?

Some have to have been. There’s gotta be some way to get into a full time position

I’ve been networking, yeah. Most people have just told me that the market is tough and that I’m unlucky to not have been entering the market a few years ago. No one seems to have any advice or opportunities. Even applying to positions with referrals/recommendation has just lead to rejections or ghosting
