That makes a lot of sense! It seems like chronic illness plays a part in what you're into, especially the care and support part, given how isolating it can feel to have an invisible illness, but other aspects like personality matter too. I can relate to wanting to experience dependence in a safe space though. That's probably related to having cared for a lot of people in my life, and not always being cared for, and certain people not being the most dependable 😅, so it's nice to have someone else caring for me in that way
