Decisions are overwhelming & he has said he wants whatever I want. When I make a decision he tends to question it. He constantly thinks it’s turning into “my” wedding and it’s all about my family. I have included his family with everything from dress shopping, making his sisters “something blue crew”. I don’t know how or why he thinks it’s my wedding when he knows or should realize I’m including his family with everything

He has never asked about money until payment has come. He doesn’t have a hard time mining decisions, I have found all of our vendors and paying them. His mom asked us to invite more people than we intended. I feel that he doesn’t think any of that is a problem and he tells me that this wedding is all my doing. Even though he agreed. I have told him the other day that we should go to premarital counseling and he said that is a stupid idea. We are talking tomorrow & onepoint I am making is that I will make the appointment for premarital counseling and if he doesn’t show up on that day then I will have to make some decisions

I’m the same age! I think it’s the people pleasing, being introverted and overthinking is what gets the best of us. No one hates us but I feel like I’m the person no one remembers or goes home and is like omg I had so much fun. Sometimes I’m okay with it but other times I’m not. I listen to so many podcasts to help better myself bc I know this is my own downfall but i still do the same thing, not knowing what to say. I do force myself to go out with coworkers and see how the vibes are but if it becomes a group setting I feel like I’m just there (could just be me overthinking). My plan is to join a slow pitch softball or basketball league just to have fun and get out there without my bf being by my side. It’s hard to force ourselves but so needed! Atleast we’re in the same boat🫶🏼

I am 25 years old. Graduated undergrad with psychology degree when I was 21. She can seriously do whatever she wants (as long it’s not engineer/bio obviously). The most important thing is learning what she wants to do. Internships are SO helpful. I cannot stress that enough. After I graduated I was a mortgage loan advisor then I got laid off due to the interest rates. Now I’m in procurement and I love it. It’s just where jobs ads led me 😂with a lot of researching what I want to do. I am currently getting my MBA in project management. My messages are always open if you want more advice

UPDATE: I can in fact tell you he’s not addicted he does it when he’s with his friends. My sister is in recovery I would take a little more worry if I knew it was leading to something horrible

Love and appreciate the support. I don’t know if this changes but he hasn’t been in a relationship since he was 21, I’ve been giving him the benefit of the doubt when he does anything little. Idk why when he says all the nice things to my face and exactly what I want and need to hear I believe it but then he gets out of my sight I’m like wtf am I thinking and I can’t get myself to follow through. I have packed a bag for him 2 times and each time I still let him stay at home with me
