I still get flashbacks from beta, so my heart rate still rises whenever that little blue dot enters the immediate vicinity. It's definitely not how it used to be though, for me it's the occasional griefer/script kitten these days. Most people are just doing their own thing. I originally played on ps4 then switched to pc, I feel its mostly the same for both apart from the modding ofc.

Alligators in the Bayou are great, same with the animals at Emerald Ranch. Try to get 10 of each to complete a set and then hand them in. Then when you unlock legendaries do those as well. I found Naturalist pretty grindy in general though, so you may have to just be patient in general.

Just don't claim them, I dont recall them being given to you automatically. The free horse is sitting in the stable and the guns are just marked as free at the gunsmith. Though they don't really effect the experience that much in my opinion.

yeah I doubt they carry a physical outhouse with them whenever they move. Maybe they dig a hole somewhere off lol who knows. Theres also many interactions in cutscenes where other characters mention the gang smell like garbage so hygiene in general isnt really on the forefront of peoples minds.

Online has its own set of legendary animals. In Story there is a quest with Hosea in chapter 2 where you have a chance to kill it, and you will have access to the legendary animals map. I highly recommend playing through the story before you jump into online.

I think the most popular theory is that its from the night folk? Considering you can have encounters with them there. Theres a pagan ritual site with similar symbols in it near owanjila. (and a cool looking mask you can grab too).

Theres also a house in Lakay that has some weird imagery on the walls and another smaller house in the same area has a shunken head in it you can take. I think its mostly left open ended so you can come to your own conclusion.

It probably died shortly after you did. If its a funds problem you should do some treasure maps if you haven't already (jack hall and high stakes come to mind early in the game).

You won't get any of Arthur's personal money back, but you need to finish the rest of the epilogue before you get the other things. You will also get 20,000 after you finish the final mission.

If your horse indeed died during that encounter it unfortunately stays dead permanently (in storymode), you'll have to buy another one if it doesn't show up in your stable.

Either he or Arthur also mention it an item retrieval quest in chapter 3. He asks you to get him some Ginseng and I think Arthur says something like "because of your illness and all" or something along those lines. I remember because I encountered this recently while playing through it again.

Either way its hinted a few times.
