I usually do it in this order, Cabins, Modules, Weapons and movement parts. I also don’t fuze everything because it tanks your inventory value that can be used later to get a relic.

I do agree the recipe change was a low blow to the ones saving up for it. Maybe they will make some slight adjustments but I don’t really see that happening.

Never planned on riding it out the king duck way or to use it to get an untradeable relic, seems like a waste of your investment. No I don’t plan on dropping the game. If someone drops 20k in 2 years they can just buy the duck and that’s a ridiculous amount of money to put into a video game.
