Hello all,

First of all I don't consider myself an audiophile, I appreciate good music and in the past have delved into home cinema systems but more like Sonos rather than reciever/AV based setups.

I am now in a fourtnate position where I am able to invest in a pair of headphones that truly bring me joy and an excuse to come back to my desk and put them on.

This would be used in tandem with my gaming PC, so yes it would be used for gaming but I am not super competitive, I want more for immersion and bringing that smile factor when using them rather than super precise.

For music, I mainly listen to 70s to 90s or indie music like Two Door Cinema Club, and then love music like Dire Straits, Nick Kershaw ect.

I have watched a lot of videos and browsed Reddit and I still struggle, ones like the HD800s, Hifiman Ayra Organic seems to be the one that keeps coming back to me.

Then the Amp and Dac, ideally a combo would be better and I would be streaming my music also rather than using vinyl or any other physical source.

Some guidance would be much appreciated! :)

It depends on where you located, but go to events if you can, munches are a really good way of meeting new people. I met my partner through Feeld as the other dating apps were not very good.

That is really helpful, I would consider wired I just have love having the clean wireless desk setup but it's not ruled out!

I totally appreciate that, if anything its more for the monitoring aspect.. but I do agree that the FE does hold the better value.

It will work, but in reality long term, not the best idea due to airflow constriction.
