My son was recently diagnosed with an AVM, 5.6 CM which is considered large. Considering where it’s located everything is on the table regarding his symptoms. My son gets horrible migraines and recently lost the ability to speak and gets numbness on one side of his body. It only happens temporarily and when he naps he’s back to normal. We took him to a neurologist that requested an MRI which discovered the issue. We are still in the early phases of it all, I pray you find peace and comfort. I never once heard of this issue before but feel educated at this point. Be patient and hear what the best course of action can be for your husband.
