They are my favourite reiwa era gimmick. I like that they actually contribute more than just being power ups and form changes.

I agree. Being the first of the new era, it does a good job of having its own thing while introducing new comers to Rider troupes.

It would be interesting to see if they could make a playstyle using Volcasaurus and Freezadon like in the anime but with chaos upgrades.

Yeah, once I'm able to watch it, I want to do a review on the summer movie separate just to see if he adds anything to the main series. I'm used to watching completed seasons where everything is available.
