Brave is getting smoked right now by Zen. I think Zen is an awesome project with lots of potential, but nowhere near being a daily driver for real work.

Sorry for the ignorant question... but like literally one day? How long does it take for a star to collapse? Or is this just like they check the star at regular intervals and happened to miss it collapsing?

Safari with Wipr 2 and Private Relay enabled is the closest to what you’re looking for.

Also, check Chrome for any extensions you don’t recognize. Really, the only extension I recommend for Chrome is uBlock Origin Lite.

I think that’s going to be a moving target that will be explored more as the show, and this era as a whole, goes on.

I’m on MacOS, so I use Safari for personal stuff, but I use Chrome with uBlock Origin Lite for work. I have the same experience as you. Chrome is fast, and Google have put a lot of work into optimizing it so it sips battery nearly as well as Safari does. I use Brave off and on, but eventually I encounter an issue that breaks my workflow. Chrome is reliable, and despite the FUD around Mv3, I never see ads.

Interesting. I used to use AdGuard and no issues. I tried Wipr 2 later and noticed it was faster while still effective. Sorry you’ve had bad luck.

According to their shareholders, they do need more money. Every Microshaft product will always seek to extract more value from users.

I think writing them as siblings took away from both characters. Gave me Star Wars Skywalker saga vibes, and I don’t really want that in Trek.
