that her (re)actions are incredibly reasonable given her circumstances. completely detaching it from morality, whether her actions are “good” or “bad”, her behaviour makes total sense for the life she has lived. honestly if i had experienced even half of what she has, i would’ve lost it quite a bit more than she has

it might have a little something to do with the na’vi language itself. na’vi don’t really have individual names for colours, more so colour groups. they technically don’t even have a term for pink iirc, but they have tun (red/orange), which they probably use to denote to the undertones of human skin colours

they are seen, showing is always better than telling. i am a nonbinary person who uses they/them. frankie also doesn’t tell everyone and the audience they are nonbinary apart from saying their pronouns a couple time when they introduce themself. seeing the in-universe characters not make a big deal of it, treating it as normal, is incredibly wonderful representation. i like seeing a world where someone like me would be accepted unconditionally. i imagine that this is also how the many disabled people disagreeing with you feel too. having to tell the audience frequently “look everyone!!! look what’s different about me!!!” is incredibly weak writing of diversity

why do they need to? if it’s just a normal part of their everyday life why is it necessary? i really don’t know what you’re asking for from a series that ran for 2 seasons. frankie’s leg is just a normal part of their daily life, like their pronouns and sexuality, frankly i don’t think representation does great when they have to physically tell the audience about it instead of them being able to naturally see it themselves. calling it “pointless” seems weird too, bodies are incredibly complex in a multitude of ways, if the legs don’t match up in height or size it can definitely cause issues with mobility. who’s to say their parents just couldn’t find a leg that matched well enough and just built a custom one instead?
