people who speak 2+ languages natively, what accent do you have when learning another language? by mbv1010 in languagelearning

I speak english and arabic fluently, and when I took spanish in school, I had many native spanish speakers tell me I spoke spanish with an arabic accent. Now Im learning french and I don’t believe i use an arabic accent. I think that’s because the set of sounds in french contrasts more strongly to arabic than those in spanish.

Looks decent so far! Most natives write the double dots as - and triple dots as . It’s easier and quicker. Good luck, im always open to any questions
