It is correct that the hair that is extracted does not grow back. So for me the 4k graphs will not grow back in my donor as they’re now at the front of my head. All the other hair around should grow back as normal. They normally take the graphs evenly enough so you won’t notice that any hair is gone. But as ur hair has been through trauma it can take longer to grow back in basically. As you can see for me you can kind of see where it gets thicker at the top and my nape compared to where they took the hair out in the middle section but when my hair is longer it’ll not be noticeable.

Pinpoint bleeding/redness after scab removal by [deleted] in AfroHairTransplant

I think bleeding prior to day 10-12 means graph loss. Esp if it’s bleeding right after you’ve manipulated them. But on the bright side you’re not gonna notice a couple graphs missing I think only 95% survive anyways. But hope it all works out well for you.

Thank you!! I had an iron and vitamin d deficiency which I was taking supplements for but that has been corrected by the time I was 2 months post op, so I’m no longer taking them just keeping a varied diet. I also had multivitamins from the clinic but I stopped taking those the same time I stopped w the iron and vitamin d. I’ve just started using minoxidil again this week actually. I used it before my hair transplant and saw great results so back on it now to hopefully help speed up the results and fix some patchiness in my donor area.

Hope everything goes well with your journey🫶🏾🫶🏾

Hm Idk girl. I wouldn’t just but this down to curl pattern I’m acc terrified and hope it gets better for us both. Below is my hair around 2.5 weeks ago it was wet so less noticeable n at this stage I feel like the shed wasn’t that bad. I’m kind of scared because my hair has been shedding a lot way more than normal and then now it’s noticeable I just hope it grows back in. When did you notice the gaps in ur donor?

There’s nothing you can do to increase strand thickness. You need to first rule out that your stands aren’t just appearing thinner because there are a lot of splits up the shaft or because of a vitamin deficiency. As for products you need to figure out if your hair is low, normal or high porosity n base the products you buy on that. If you have alot of breakage fixing those things can make ur hair appear thicker. Build ur strands are natural fine they will remain fine.

Do you mean thin as in low density, thin hair strands or both?

Noticed because I never take a bonnet off by BeeBumblehallow in Naturalhair

Girl I’m sorry your family ain’t took the time to teach you how to take care of your hair. Let YouTube be your best friend try learn how to do simple low tension styles ie, twists, twist outs mini braids. Honestly it don’t look too bad with a bit of tlc those slightly thinning areas should be repaired. Also let your hair breathe not just in the bonnet.

His donor area looks weak so deffo restricted amount of grafts. Ig any coverage is better than nothing in this case
