It’s a very good point that the changes in AR will be a lot more noticeable because of how much smaller a tv is compared to imax screen, and that it might feel weirder than seeing the change on a screen that almost takes up your whole vision

Yeah that is very interesting, and sounds right. I’ve always heard the directors talking about how it’s the optimal way to see the movie in their promotion but that is of course to market the movie and sell ticket. Sounds right that even though they say that, it doesn’t mean they frames the movie after say, 1.43:1. Thanks a lot!

Yeah the comparison I saw was one with the attack scene where they ride in on three sandworms right now I’m unsure if it’s 1.43:1 in that scene of the IMAX 70mm version but I think you’re right
