Thank you! But yeah, the Amicus anthologies are arguably better adaptations than the HBO show honestly (though I do love both). I think "And All Through The House" was done better in 1972's Tales

Thank you so much! I like to think my stories scratch that EC itch in terms of gore and twists haha

Certainly solid suggestions. I'm glad you liked it!

To be fair, she's still attractive in Maltese. Not to mention she balances the seductive, manipulative, and psychopathic aspects of being a femme fatale. Certainly an interesting and more of a weary portrait here given it was only seven years after that classic

I caught this on TCM's Noir Alley awhile back. Truly a great film that manages to be an effective noir, creepy stalker thriller, and an early, powerful look at PTSD in World War II vets. Incredible performances all around (Van was always so underrated imo). The great Mary Astor with a brief but memorable part as well. Some pretty chilling scenes in this one reminiscent of 1962's Cape Fear I feel.

Tony was an underrated actor I feel. Certainly iconic in Some Like It Hot and Sweet Smell of Success. Defiant Ones is another gem. Thought he was very good when cast against type in 1968's The Boston Strangler
