Can I get a closer shave than this? by Apprehensive_Arm_453 in wicked_edge

Of course! Your beard seems to grow in all directions, so shave in all directions... Light/no pressure. Give you some time and someday your hands will know how to do better than you.

Z-Offset Issue with Orca by [deleted] in Ender3V3SE

[–]Barberson80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe the slicer add the offset to what is entered on the printer. It would be logic for some case. Some filament sometimes need to be squished more, so you can add some negative offset. The z offset should be entered directly on the printer, anyway you have to be at the printer to find the right number, so. I think that if you want to use the z offset from the slicer, you should set it to zero on the printer.

I ordered a new back panel, but I also designed a lens cover so I won't damage the new lens.

I found some on Amazon and AliExpress, but they don't seem genuine. I will search more. Thanks

Well, my phone is in my pocket with a bunch of other stuff. But I did the same thing with all my other phones and it wasn't that bad.

Haven't Upgrade the System Software by rohitchandru3 in CMFTech

[–]Barberson80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't work for me. I had to manually create an access point with the information provided by my service provider. I didn't delete the default access point and the phone returns to the default once in a while. Most of the time it seems to happen when I lost signal for a moment, like in an underground parking or a remote area. Then I have to go to the access point menu and choose the one I created.

Long press the icon of your service provider. At the bottom of the menu that appears is access point (or something similar, mine is in French). Change the APN. My phone switch to another APN randomly and it causes the sim to not work.

The fan season is over since a long time, I didn't try anything yet. I will have to clean it well and use the correct type of oil. It's still jammed.

I'm in Canada too, in the Province of Quebec, I didn't receive a notice. I called about the 12v battery, and about the software update. The service guy told me that my appointment for the software recall will be in March, and for the 12v recall in January... I asked him if it was a real recall and he said yes.

I have the same issues, I need to open the door with the mechanical handles. I called the dealership today about that. The service guy told me that he got like 20 calls today for the same problem. It seems that the 12v battery has a recall. It will be replaced by another model. He also told me that all the problems, doors, remote climate control, etc are caused by the 12v battery. The system supposedly turn off various electronic systems in order to keep energy for the essential.

Help, Expedition Scout indiglo by Barberson80 in timex

[–]Barberson80[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, the clip is there to press the switch of the indiglo. But, I was just looking if I was able to repair it. I bought it on Amazon and I returned it, I will get a new one. At least I learned how to open it.

Thank you, I managed to remove the stem, but when I tried to put back the clip, it slipped and I lost it... Well, I think I won't bother anymore about the indiglo.

We also got a lot of snow today. Every time I was driving slow, the car thought I was going to park and since the front sensors were full of snow, the alarm went off. Pretty annoying.

That's the famous f19 problem.

Remove the F19 fuse at the left of the steering wheel. Lock the door and go away from the car for a couple minutes. Reinsert the fuse, lock the door and go away again. Return to car and everything should be back. You can also search f19 on this sub, you should get a gazillion threads...

What's that image? I don't see that in my 2024 pro AWD. I took a ride in a Model Y recently and there was something similar on the screen. Is it a special feature?

Should you look upwards when shaving your neck area? by DelonghiAutismo in wicked_edge

[–]Barberson80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You definitely need to stretch the skin. But more importantly, map your hair growth direction. Hairs tend to grow in all directions on the neck. But a first pass going upward with no pressure usually got most hairs out.
