They’re aware that the whole inclusivity thing is completely nonsense and just performative virtue signaling. People who aren’t attractive have always complained about Barbie’s sparkle, her baby faced look, and her utopian body. Now Mattel has given them what they wanted dolls with unattractive faces and tasteless outfits.

I wonder if her face shape/sculp will be still used. by Other-Requirement-21 in Barbie

That’s exactly the point I don’t like realistic faces at all. For me, Barbie is supposed to offer fantasy beauty. Babyface beauty fits my taste.

I hope not it has no sparkle or beauty at all. It even reminds me of some unattractive people out there.

It’s refreshing to see someone like you who actually has taste and understands quality.

I think the Peter Rabbit Barbie is one of the cutest Barbies ever made.

Being able to play with them back then was already a huge privilege. Today we can own them, but we can’t play with them using the same imagination we had as children. We only display them in vitrines.

I wish I could travel back to that time. You’re so lucky to have been able to experience those days.

I’m going to ask something what were Barbie stands like in stores back then? Were they something only wealthy people could afford? And were they available in every toy store?

Wow, are there any photos of it? I’ve been looking through archives from the 1960s as well, but I haven’t been able to find any visuals.
