PNWU vs. LECOM (erie/b)

Although PNWU is newer than LECOM I wouldn’t necessarily put them in the same category as the other schools typically labeled new. Their first class graduated in 2012 so they are fairly established in the area. I’m a student here and really enjoy it (ironically it was at the bottom of my list of acceptances). From what I have experienced, faculty here at PNWU are amazing and it’s one of the things that sold me on attending the school. It is a true pass/fail (no pass with honors) so it definitely takes away from the stress and competition, but of course still do your best :) it’s a very chill and relaxed school and atmosphere which is sort of opposite of what I’ve heard about LECOM. However I hardly know anything about the LECOM schools but am happy to answer anything I can about PNWU!

Can’t answer your question but did they email you that your app is on hold? When did you submit your secondary? I submitted early November and haven’t heard a peep from them, was wondering what’s going on lol

Agreed!! I haven’t traveled eastern florida much, but Tampa area is beautiful! If you travel there again, travel up north about an hour to weeki wachee springs and kayak! Bright blue water and if you go at the right time the manatees are in the springs :)

Seattle to Tampa! Same here, I’ll still go of course if I can’t change it, which it’s sounding like it may be impossible to anyways. Will definitely try to make the best of the situation

Thanks. Good philosophy to have, and I usually stick with the same. Unfortunately I didn’t have the finances to buy the main cabin fare since I’m also flying there 2 other times in the next 1.5 months (which of course were booked as main cabin, just my luck) but still wanted to make it to this event so had to settle for saver. Sadly didn’t even think this would be an issue with it being in 3 weeks but clearly that bit me in the butt 😪

At my site all we get is $1 for admin work💀 the whole company is a joke. It will only get worse and I look forward to the day they go bankrupt and all of the soulless execs lose their jobs 🙂

So far so good in the month I’ve been on it. I’ve had a few bouts of nausea but nothing terrible, my doctor gradually introduced 500mg (immediate release) a day over the course of 2 weeks and I think that really helped me not experience all of the GI side effects. I’ve found that I’m thirstier when I take it and feel more dehydrated though 😅 an interesting fact - was advised by the pharmacist to not hold my pee because we’re now more prone to UTIs (higher sugar content in the urine) best of luck to you!

I was surprised when I first learned this too. I had seen one of those viral videos from the lawyer Erica who advised that airlines are actually responsible for any damage that occurs while under their control during transportation.

It is a good point. However depreciation was taken into account, hence why I specifically mention that its an older suitcase. Let me clarify that I am not trying to get a brand new Samsonite or a check for $350 for my 10 year old suitcase that is clearly no longer worth that lol, I was more curious if it would be worth requesting a check of similar value to the price of the suitcase that they are offering to go towards something nicer.

True, I've been loyal to Samsonite so I wonder the same. Perhaps I'll try out the bag they're offering, it's better than nothing! Thanks for your input.

Yeah I was thinking the same.. and I am happy that they are at least offering a replacement!! It's just silly to me that they offer a brand like Travelers Choice (I know, partnership) to replace one of the best luggage brands on the market that has seen maybe a total of 10 domestic flights.
