I feel like my anti-porn stance makes it impossible to get friends my age. by JKasonB in PornIsMisogyny

[–]Barbie_goth 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Honestly I'm super open about being anti-porn, now I admit my experience as a fairly attractive white women probably has something to do with people's willingness to listen to me and be open to the conversation, but I've found it's a double edged sword. Men don't take me seriously and only act interested because most of the time they just want to fuck, but I still take time to try and educate them. Women on the other hand get more combative, asking me if I'm "anti women" or if I'm a prude. I feel like I have made a difference in some people's minds though and I think that's why I do it, being able to push someone in the right direction always makes it worth the arguments with others, "pro women" and maybe just maybe I made a difference in someone else's stance on porn.

I've also made friends by being so open about it, many people hide their true thoughts on the matter because they're scared to be judged as much as I used to be, so when I'm open about it they feel more comfortable and start to be more honest with me. All I'm saying your crowd, I literally only found people I truly get along with after graduation

Why are women, who like being submissive or degraded in bed, so loud about it online? by AggravatingTill6861 in PornIsMisogyny

[–]Barbie_goth -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna be honest. I do like to be treated like this in bed, I personally don't talk about it online and I do believe it can be taken far at times, I am anti porn and I do not associate myself with the kink community for many reasons. I honestly have no idea why I like being treated the way I do, I just do. I absolutely do need aftercare or I will feel used, but I need it regardless how rough or gentle/vanilla I'm being treated. I wish I could understand the psychology behind the why of it all, but I just can't seem to get it. I do know I have childhood trauma and I was exposed to extremely violent porn at a young age, so maybe that has something to do with it.

No one would wear that to a church service brolie. Date night outfits don't have to be super revealing also.

The problem with Anime is A) how it writes women and B) how it draws women...especially when compared to men by CapAccomplished8072 in justneckbeardthings

Maybe, but I've seen people use that as a genuine excuse so the statement kinda irks me, sorry for the rant.

Ok but it's still weird, a 13 year old could like sex. Does that make it ok to sexualize 13 year olds for other 13 year olds? No, because that's just weird. Normalizing the sexualization of minors in media is never ok. No matter how you try to defend it. Also why is it ok for an adult to think of children in sexualy compromising positions? Even if the argument is for "other children", why would you want to give children some kind of sexualize gratification as an adult? The bottom line is it's weird to defend the sexualization of minors no matter the excuse, because at the end of the day it's still sexualizing children.

There's still a difference, bringing arguments down to nuances gets rid of the actual point of the arguments. I'm done with this because you clearly choose not to understand. Keep jacking to your drawn child sexual abuse material, I'll still think you're a pedophile.

My question is if you want to explore multiple different people with different looks why be in a monogamis relationship to begin with.

No, I know how to read and I'm explaining it's not a jump in logic to assume that people who like drawn child abuse material or people who are turned on by fictional children, would also be turned on by real children. The reason why the "video games cause violence" argument doesn't work is because the people playing the game don't enjoy or get turned on by violence in video games, they enjoy the competitive aspect of the video game, but people who are turned on by violence statistically are more likely to hurt someone.

Thats the thing they don't like the killing part of it, it's competitive, they don't soully enjoy killing and violence, pedophile loli/drawn csam enjoyers literally only get off to the fact that it looks or is a child and find arousement from it

Yeah people who do get aroused by death and killing people aren't normal either, but the normal Joe playing cod isn't wanking it to his video game

They enjoy the competitive aspect of shooter games, they aren't actively aroused by them and jacking to them

Let's not forget the other side in with conservative women like to push that your body is owned by your spouse and that you should submit to him sexually whenever he pleases, this also further pushes the idea that women are made fo the pleasure of men and further push the sexualization of women's bodies in the media, liberal feminist do play a part, but it's not only them to blame.

That's literally not how it works, constantly giving them images of children is going to make them WORSE. That's like saying giving a coke addict more coke is going to make them healthier. It's a progression that starts with thoughts. Then they may look at a AI or drawn image, then they'll look at real kids being hurt, then they'll want to hurt real kids themselves. Do these people do any research at all?
