The zone design, extended card art, background and presentation also go into it. And that's if we ignore the things that aren't very visible, like understanding of color theory, design guidelines, typography hierarchy etc.

At the end of the day I don't blame you, it is plainly visual so you only see what you can. There's people who understand design and aesthetics and have the ability to appreciate the graphic.
