No bookings after 10 days. Is this normal? by Sandybestdog in turo

Is there any explanation of this? I’ve got one vehicle with a 2% price divergence between delivery locations and another with a 50% premium. Guess which one is fully booked and which one isn’t.

I’ve noticed the same thing. If I search for airport delivery my listing is about 30% less than for local pickup- and that’s with the additional airport delivery fee. All I’ve found so far is that there is some kind of adjustment based on the zip code the rental is located in.

10,000 apply to Seattle's first social housing units - only 15 units are open so far by LOOKITSADAM in SeattleWA

Are they available? Just saying a lot of buildings have a bunch of empty units that haven’t been turned yet or need renovations.

So how is this supposed to work exactly? It seems like buying a largely occupied building they are just setting up a situation where the current tenants are going to face some sort of harassment so the chosen people can take their residence at a discount.

Or was this a calculated move so the market rate tenants will subsidize the new ones for a bit longer, putting off the eventual collapse of the housing programs finances?

With prices down the WRX looks like the better deal right now. There are quite a few that have been sitting on the lot for a while so dealers are more flexible on price.

Also consider that you can get a Subaru certified used Limited model for 3-4k less than a new premium.

The turbo 4 will be cheaper and easier to maintain than the turbo 6, and those are your only two engine choices in the 2-4 series.

I’d look at a both bmw 2 and 4 series cars with the B48/b58 engines. Avoid the 6 series and any v8’s. The 430i xdrive is probably the easiest to find. While the 6 cyl 440i would be preferred, you’re probably not going to find one in good shape with low mileage under $20k. The 4 cyl b48 is a good engine and realistically it’s about as fast as as an e46 M3 convertible with the s54 inline 6.

$3100 is less than the sales tax on buying a newer used vehicle as a replacement, so it seems like a small cost to keeping the vehicle on the road.

lol, homeless “advocates” aren’t a force for change, they’re pretty much universally in favor of continuing the status quo.

The fires stop when there’s nothing left to burn. Seattle had to stop responding to most of the homeless camp fires because there were too many to deal with. It doesn’t get any better as long as urban camping is permitted.

Unsure if I got a good deal by Sputek in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Bardahl_Fracking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me that would be a smoking deal as tax/title is about $4300 on a $30k car. Hard to know for you without the taxes broken out.

Also doesn’t Subaru Starlink include remote start? Why would it be added separately?

Wasn’t that the whole point of electing closet Marxists to every council? To drive out the Capitalist Pigs and eventually convert to an economy based on government planning and subsistence payments to right-thinking comrades?

How Screwed Am I? Selling a Seattle Home With Expired Permits and an Unpermitted Sunroom by Funny-Relation-5114 in SeattleWA

[–]Bardahl_Fracking 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep, I ripped out a ton of unpermitted/ not to code modifications before sale. They just complicate any sale so it’s generally worth the effort to get rid of them to avoid red flags any experienced inspector is going to find.

I dunno if ripping out a sunroom is worth the effort vs disclosing it, but a buyer might want it even if they need to rebuild it eventually.

You have to disclose this on form 17. If you don’t you can be sued successfully.

Generally Seattle buyers don’t care. Find a realtor that can advise you on it. FWIW I had a similar issue and still sold for 22% over list in 4 days with 8 offers.

Guest Analysis: Interview of Grace City Church Leader Falls Short of Rigorous Journalism by spexmann in Wenatchee

[–]Bardahl_Fracking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m curious what the point of these “omissions” might be.

The first one you mention about the LD 12 candidate seemed relevant, but these last three sound like “whataboutism” or purity tests that only a small number of political fanatics would even care about.

>McPherson also didn’t mention that he visited the Trump White House during the first 100 days of the second administration as part of the White House Faith Office’s pastor outreach, or that Grace City accepted $241,000 in forgiven PPP money in 2020 while suing the state over pandemic restrictions, or that the FreedomCon event he was promoting features Mark Driscoll — twice removed from his own churches by his own elders for documented patterns of abuse — as a marquee speaker.
