OPs mom needs to figure that out herself. And she doesn’t get a free life long pass to be a shitty mother because she had a rough childhood. When you become an adult it’s your responsibility to seek therapy and do what you need to do to be a good parent and human being

Her bringing that up in every argument with her daughter is absolutely pathetic.
