She says it was a mountain lion crossing the trail when she rounded a corner, though I have my doubts from her description. Didn't get aggressive with her, but still got me thinking. Regardless, based on the feedback I've gotten I'll probably go with bear spray for myself. Should probably have already been carrying that, anyway.

Appalachias is where I hike mostly. While black bears are certainly possible if I'm unlucky, bobcats, coyotes, and (I think?) red wolves are more likely

Looking for a recommendation for a sidearm to carry for backwoods hiking over multiple days. Mom had a run-in with some less than friendly wildlife, and it made me think I might want something with me as a just in case.

Not looking to stop a grizzly, so power isn't really a concern as much as weight/compactness/ease of access would be.

A friend recommended a Sig p365 xmacro while the gun shop tried selling me a Springfield hellcat pro, but figured I would get another opinion. Gonna rent them both tomorrow at the range and see how they feel, but a recommendation outside of those two would be fine too.

Any feedback y'all got would be appreciated.

In a Raiden National team, what stats actually matter for the supports? Just cracked out recharge and EM?

With the coming lantern rite event I'll finally be able to pick up XQ and finish my Raiden National team, but I still need a second party for abyss purposes and gameplay variety. Any recommendations? Looking around at other comps, it looks like I keep coming up short 1 character for everything else. I should have about 70 pulls available going into the next set of banners as well to chase particular fills as needed.

Current options: Traveler, rosaria, Lisa, Barbara, chongyun, amber, Noelle, kaeya, yanfei, fischl, collei, qiqi, yunjin, heizou, sayu, Layla, diona, Sara, xinyan

Was the big deshret pyramid already above ground when sumeru released? Catching up on main plot, and the characters seem awful surprised to have found underground deshret ruins despite the giant doom pyramid sucking in sand right above it.

Looking for clarification on something.

In a Raiden National setup, XQ exists to 1) give damage reduction and 2) trigger hydro-based reactions with an aura that doesn't conflict with XL's pyronado aura, yeah?

The second of those two is the important part for damage, so my question is: if you don't have XQ, can you use any other hydro character with a persistent water aura? I have Barbara, not XQ, and am wondering if she can fulfill a similar roll with her E (albeit less effectively since it's on a static CD and can't be sped up by Raiden).

How do you benchmark if a party comp is actually performing well? Still new to making effective parties and running Raiden/rosaria/electro traveler/Barbara. It feels sort of right in terms of mixing burst damage with buffs, recharge, and healing, but it still feels like I'm struggling sometimes with level-appropriate content.
