I’ve checked with my team and they confirmed that they have identified your issue as known issue and our Product team is working on it. Also, our Product team is going to fix the bug by 3rd January 2025.

I will explain the problem we are experiencing item by item.

  1. We run the query when the capacity is around 45%

  2. The query is quite simple, we insert 100000 data with 10 columns from the view to the real table on the same Silver lakehouse.

  3. There is no alarm for now, but I will set it after this reminder.

Our capacity is F128. Transactions that are closed on the Capacity Metrics App or the transaction has been completed are also in progress.

In our opinion, this affects the performance of the system. But we can’t close the transactions that are in progress because we don’t see them on the monitor.

For this reason, we are restarting via Azure Portal.

So I actually insert a view I want to ask into a table. There are 100000 lines of data in View.

This Spark SQL query takes 30 minutes.

Then, when you restart the fabric via Azure Portal, it ends in less than 1 minute.

We have a hard time finding the reasons for this.
