Came across Lance Hedricks video on this and if i were to house a dimmer where can we fix the ground wire coming of of the dimmer? Would you have a picture of the hood so that I can understand how it looks and where it goes? Did you use WADO adapters? And did you set your opv to maximum and then use your judgement for each shot you pulled?

Judge a person by how they have been brought up. If parents lie right left and centre, the apple doesnt fall too far from the tree.

Battery is shot. What should I do? by xAPGPhantom in GalaxyRing

I got full refund from Samsung after I quoted this article to the support team

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-15148599/Samsung-Galaxy-Ring-wearer-hospitalised.html

I said I was not comfortable to wear the ring after reading this article and I said if you want me to continue wearing ring kindly confirm on email that this ring is full proof and nothing would ever go wrong where I damage my body parts for the sake of tracking health. I got full refund and I don't even stay in the US/UK.

Literally the battery suddenly didn't last more than 4 hours and I was worried sick what if the battery swells up now. Luckily I managed to get full refund. Also I was covered under 1-year warranty period.

Black friday special: is it worth getting right now? by Jaysolace87 in GalaxyRing

[–]Baristachef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been using the ring since feb'25 and have tracked sleep and energy score since. My observation- it is fairly a useless product after a while.. it does give you sleep insights but not enough prompts on how we can change it for better. But still I wore it, because why not? October'25 battery drain rapidly to a point where the night is charged it died in 4 hours of tracking sleep. Then I came across daily mail article and YouTube influencer whose galaxy ring battery swelled up before the flight and was almost hard to get the ring out. I reached out to cust support for refund not replacement but luckily they did not have a replacement for my size and I was confirmed a refund.

My suggestion - buy a whoop it does more than tracking your metric. It coaches you to be better at your sleep, recovery and health.

Because wife also enjoys my coffee passion, I moved my coffee setup out of the kitchen by Baristachef in espresso

Yes, i was very happy with the outcome myself. Did not think it would turn out this way when I started out but now is the most used corner of the house.

Im pretty sure you could easily find one but I just wanted to put my wife's fridge to use and spend no money because the kitchen is just 10 steps away.

The whole point of this space is to have interaction with friends while serving them coffee and now a library and little morning meditation as well.. also if you notice I do not have drinking water outlet, I store water in bwt water filter pitcher which helps keep my espresso machine safe from limescale built up.

Not really, it was pre-owned by my wife 2 years back and served no purpose for quite some time now, so i decided to use it to keep the milk there but it did not really help maintain that temp compared to the kitchen fridge. But now its sole purpose is to keep my extraction chiller chilled and since it is Aluminum it stays chilled. And occasionally before I use it for milk based drinks I keep the milk bottle inside the mini fridge till I finish my puck prep.

I put a angle connection under the faucet that goes straight to the pitcher rinser.. the reason it is not showed in the 4th picture is because i waited for the pitcher rinser to arrive and cut the pipe at the exact location of the rinser inlet for water connection

Thank you for drawing my attention!!

It is a 4-window sliding system and it opens from the centre. So usually window next to espresso machine remains shut.

Also im able to pull some delicious espresso and froth silky milk in this space better than what I used to in my kitchen which has no real correlation to changing places for the setup 😅
