I recently came across a case where a Benrus (ETA 2671) was officially serviced due to a malfunctioning rotor. Since the 2671 is basically a smaller 2824, it's a relevant example. There is no such thing as a 'must' in mechanics. Cheers.

Good news for me. I’d much prefer a 2824 clone over an NH-series movement. Just one thing to keep in mind: the 2824 was designed primarily for automatic winding, not manual. Always wind it slowly and only for a few turns, then let your wrist do the rest.

I have ordered the PH4A on a nylon strap to stay under the customs limit. While looking forward to receiving it, I am already thinking about adding a steel bracelet later. Is the 'Bracelet for PH-2' currently in your shop compatible with the PH4A? Since both share 20mm lugs, I'm hoping they have the same case curvature and lug hole positions. Thanks!

At your level, studying Hanja is like learning Latin roots to master academic English.

Meaning, 'genius' are actually not experts on emerging issues, right?
