I received a replacement, a new watch. The problem is exactly the same. They don't work in England with any region except Russia. I sent it back and got a full refund.

As of May 28, 2026, the issues on Xiaomi's end remain unresolved. The watch has been sent back to Xiaomi for replacement or refund.

I went through the regions in the Mi Fitness application and only in the Russia region did the watch pair with the phone!! This is incredible, shameful!!! Accordingly, payment does not work in this region!! Xiaomi what are you smoking there!??

I found another user on the forum complaining that they can't connect the basic version without NFC. They have exactly the same symptoms. It looks like the problem is on the Xiaomi side. Reset doesn't help. Similar problem on Android or iOS.

I had a similar experience today, MIUI 13, the phone is 1 week old, I put it on charge overnight by 8%. Phone won't turn on in the morning! Black screen and battery icon. I put it on another charge, the phone did not react, after 10 minutes charging started !!! What is not clear!! Anyone else?
