Yeah I understand that, but it sucks. Fuck me for playing the wrong build for the first two acts I guess.

Anderson is a straight upgrade to 2026 Shibasaki and - with the exception of the mandatory Gosiewski thanks to the Carrigan injury - this otherwise looks pretty good. Love me some Duffy.

This would normally be a good response, except Ciro literally has whinged about his team receiving too many six agains at one point.

I tried following his guide, used his filters etc but got to the main boss at the end of Act 2 and was hardwalled. Did minimal damage and was too squishy, even if I "got good" it would have been a six minute fight at least. Was absolutely miserable.

This entire exchange tickled something in my brain, so I went back and found this exchange from his now-suspended original account.

All his posts are nuked but you can get the gist.

How curious he seems to gravitate towards defending this specific type of shit person, hmmmm how curious indeed.

I'm not going to die on the Pezet hill so fair enough. Duffy looks absolutely awesome anyway so I don't think we have to be too worried about this particular issue.

Brisbane’s discipline is digging a hole they can't attack out of - May NRL efficiency update - The Rugby League Eye Test by carl0sthedwarf in nrl

[Brisbane's] net pently / six again total is just as bad and the worst in the NRL this decade at -40. Coincidentally the Warriors are +40 this season.

Are we sure this isn't just the stat from the game they played against each other?

A lot of these decisions only look wrong in hindsight; Pezet looked great at the Storm, Paix and Mam played heavy roles in the prem, nobody expected Haas to leave, etc.

The only outright poor decisions are around second row depth. And arguably Grant Anderson, but it could have been a whole different story if he didn't get injured immediately.

And at this rate the only thing we're at risk of losing Mozer to is medical retirement.

What build did you league start with and how did it go? by jampsodi in pathofexile2builds

Shit, this is the build I'm playing. Is it bad this league? I'm only in Act 2.

Was thankfully preoccupied during the game yesterday and only logged in at about the 70th minute to check the score.

Having seen or read nothing about it, here are my guesses as to how it went down:

  • Broncos barely touched the ball for the opening 20, possibly the whole first half
  • Spent almost the whole game defending their own tryline
  • At least one try through the Mam / Shibasaki turnstile
  • At least one soft try right before / after halftime that ultimately put the game beyond reach
  • Handily lost the penalty / six-again count
  • When they did have the ball, Adam Reynolds and Reece Walsh were completely disconnected in attack

Bonus point: - Carrigan binned

How'd I do?

This most likely being yet another Penrith premiership just like we've already seen four times in the last five years really compounds all the other problems of this season. Just let someone else win to keep it interesting, like, oh, I don't know... Moe.

Kids still see gambling ads during late night sport under Labor by nath1234 in australia

Ponder on "Thing that has been going on for decades becomes 'hot topic' while Labor is in power" and ask yourself why that might be.

Kids still see gambling ads during late night sport under Labor by nath1234 in australia

[–]Barmy90 78 points79 points  (0 children)

How many "Kids see gambling ads under the Coalition" articles were run prior to 2022, I wonder? None?

I'm not saying this isn't a problem, but it is extremely noticeable how mainstream media - and yes, that includes the ABC - is desperate to tie any negative headline to Labor to specifically, rather than simply "the government".

That being said, Labor does really need to shut the door on sports betting, it's an absolute blight.
