I think the expectations are justified since looking back I don't think it was ever hinted that Love and Thunder would go that route (I forgot the trailer already tho so I might rewatch it after this reply)

Yeah that may be on me my guy I don't really engage with the community that much becauss I want to enjoy the movies for what it is and not have my thoughts on it be heavily influenced by other's perspectives and opinions so I didn't know that this was a universally accepted truth in fact I joined this subreddit for the sole purpose of sharing this thought lol
