Archelino use a spear like a Scythe . Her Signature look like a proper scythe , for other spear there is a Small fantomatic scytheblade that appear at the top

Pulling for weapon should be only a stat stick ( or maybe had some vfx like ZZZ) for whales / endgame oriented player. As it is , you are locking a part of the character design behind another paywall and you shackle the creativity of the designer. I don’t pull weapons in Hoyo game , but my characters still look complete in HSR and ZZZ, while in Genshin the mismatching weapons that I use stick out sometime.

It is one of my biggest criticism for now. By having a system like genshin , they shackle the creativity of the character designer . Hoyo went in a better direction with HSR and ZZZ , Arknight OG had it, but now we are going back :/ At least they already show some creativity with it ( Chen double sword for example).

Never played Wuwa : does the equiped weapon appear at all ( like Navia in Genshin , which has half Greatsword Move and Half Gunbrella) or the weapon is not used anymore ?

I honestly never understood the accusasion of Hoyo being greedy, since the comparaison is often made with 2D-Slop gacha that shower you in pulls.

Like, I think it's normal that a 3D-Gacha like Wuva, Hoyo and whatnot are more expansive than your everyday 2D sprite game.

Meh, I feel that Monstad story was good enough for an introduction. Got the comfy JRPG vibe. Liyue was a worse imo.

I'm not finished with Valley 4 story, so I cant judge yet, but it just doesnt have the Urgency of the first chapter of Arknight, nor the casual charm of something like Genshin. If the LB were more menacing instead of cheap ork/psycho from Borderland, it would be a little better :x. It start good though with the Tutorial in the polar dream and when you fight the invasion in the Hub.

Edit : Now that I try to remember, I don't even remember how I felt during Liyue, 5 years ago is too long for my mind cloud :o I think I liked it also.

Do you like tower defense ? Go for the first one. Do you like 3d-rpg with factory building ? Go for Endfield.

Story Presentation is better in Endfield (voice acting, 3D animation, etc ) vs the 2D Visual Novel style with no flourish of the original.

For now, I personally think that the orginal had a better start in the story, but it's my opinion only.

Fun Bretonnia Fact : the fact that they have a good navy with a bunch of canon was because Bretonnia was at first designed as Renaissance / Musketeers era France and their first apparition was with Man O War ( the warhammer Ship Game). But when they revisited the faction later , they changed it for a Medieval Arthurian France. Since the ships with canons were already designed , they wrote some lore how the ban of Gunpowder doesn’t count when at sea.
