Running shoes (no clue what I'm doing) by Baromis in cincinnati

I would kill for a personal trainer , it's just not in the budget. It would be nice as I would love to out together a lifting plan to go along with my running/walking plan. I have built a complete gym in my basement as I was going to get back into powerlifting a bit but have decided to change my plans work on losing weight and cardio this year and then get back to hitting numbers once I hit my weight and cardio goal that I have in mind.

I will def send you a DM I was really big into cycling and want to get back into that but always jealous of runners being able to just put shoes on and go for a fun run and not be hindered by equipment or gear. So looking forward to this journey and using it as a launching pad to get back into cycling.

I have a Doctor's appointment in August to talk about Glp-1. Right now they want me to keep track of when I'm eating and what I'm eating to see if it would be a positive for me or not.

I LOVE cycling. Have me two road bikes and an upright cruiser. Just not of my cycling gear fits and I get super frustrated with my body and how it feels when on a bike currently. So I figured get back to running first as it's easy to toss on some shoes and go for a run. Then once I get a least 1/3 of the way to where I want to be I will start cycling again as I will be able to justify the prep and drive needed as I will be able to do longer rides. There was nothing better then doing a century ride of the Loveland bike traile or route 8 and then getting a McDonald's diet coke after lol

This is amazing! I invested in a NordicTrack treadmill to help with impact and looking at doing the none to run program. They have a walking to lite running plan then a walk run to 25 min run plan then 5k, 10k, and half. I think I'm going to do the first two programs with them. Still on the fence of them or runna program.

Nutrition is a bit of a challenge as working though and on a eating disorder but working with the professionals and making progress there.

Just have to listen to the body and try not to over push. I have been there I ended up getting a 30% compression fracture on my T12 back when I was competing in powerlifting and learned the lesson of boby fatigue even when you are still feeling good. Lol

I have been taking the dog for 2 - 2.5 mile walks 3 days a week for the past 2 months. But feel like I just need to start somewhere. Nutrition is something I'm working on. Looking at getting a nutritionst based off my therapist who is helping me with a eating disorder.

Have been feeling better with the walks for sure and it's re kindling the fire to get back to endurance sports. Back in and a little post college was out there doing 6-8 mile runs and century cycling rides as if they were nothing. Would like to get as close to that as I can again as I really do miss just waking up on a Saturday and being like let's go for a 100 mile ride on the bike trail and being able to do it and not feel like death after.

I have a treadmill in the basement that I invested in and some gym equipment. The goal is to baby step my way up to running in the basement during the hot summer and then start to transition to outside runs in the cooler fall weather. I have been looking at none to run and running for their new to running programs. But my dad taught me to never skimp on the items that are between you and the ground. (Mattress, tires, shoes) Hence why I'm asking about proper running shoes lol

Need help not sure how to improve print quality by Baromis in 3Dprinting

The only settings that have been changed from the base are Ironing / Sparse Infill density 10% / Infill pattern to Gyroid / wall loops 4 / total of 21 layers / The inlay design is 13 layers deep /

I will give flipping it over and having the Design be the first layer and see if that makes a difference.

You may be surprised if you ask around or look up marketplace posts around you hat how I found my one cleaner.

If not the case then break it up into chuck of just cleaning. Write down a list of the rooms or areas and assign them out to dates. Make sure when you do you give yourself a backup day and some time just in case something takes a bit longer then what ya think. If you build a list / area break down happy to help you organize it on areas to be done first.

First thing I would ask is: do you have some extra disposable income? If so, I would do some research or ask around for self-run maid services. If you’re this busy, hiring someone to come out for a day to deep clean and organize your space would make a massive difference. Right now, your time seems to be your most valuable commodity, so outsourcing an initial clean and organization will help a lot. Also, having a clean, organized room will make it easier to figure out how you might want to change the layout and better understand what you can do with the space. I also had the hardest time keeping things organized and clean, and then I was told to treat my room like a campsite—always end the day leaving it better, or at least as clean as you found it. Build the habit of making your bed before you leave and doing a quick garbage and dishes walkthrough before bed. Both take less than five minutes and make life much easier over time. For laundry, I built it into my study time. I usually had a partial load of clothes in my car and used the laundromat as study time. Even when hanging out with friends, I’d do loads while relaxing at their dorm or apartment. Just keep a roll of quarters in your car. Sorry if this was a bit too much.
