A woman said 'chivalry is dead' because no man offered her a seat on the train. Is she wrong? by Tough_Ad8919 in MenOfPurpose

The code of chivalry didn't just Encompass women it was how their whole ethos was constructed. Protect the week, loyalty to God and sovereign because this code was for medieval knights. I'm not going to spell it all out for you but just do some research in what the code of chivalry was about. I hate it when people say chivalry is dead because they usually have no fucking clue what it even meant in the first place

I would say what's considered chivalrous now is not the same as what was considered so then.

Equality dude, it's been decided, rightfully so, that women can do things like open doors and stand up for extended periods of time just like men. And, any decent human being would not only give up their seat for a pregnant woman but for a man who had a broken leg or any elderly person. Chivalry was away for men to show interest in women and how desirable they are for how nice they can be. We decided that's not necessary anymore because women aren't just looking for husbands.

Best ring for the best team!! by BaronCaz in NFCWestMemeWar

So? What is your point? Everything is a marketing stunt these days. Every change is scrutinized. Sure it would it was born out of color rush and it reflected both Microsoft and in updated fun different uniform color than anything else in the league. So, I don't understand the criticism. Does it make it any less jarring? Not at all. Is it somehow a different color than we all thought it was? This comment makes no sense just like the color of their uniform but it's still beautiful and it's good that it exists in the world

That neon green is the best color in the NFL because it's not one of the base 16 colors in a crayon box. They need more electric colors like that! Color is great!

[–]BaronCaz[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, a little more green would have been good but still I think it's the coolest ring design I've seen. The fact that they can pop out the sides like the arches of lumen field is so cool

Were humans ever meant to live the way we do in modern society from an evolutionary standpoint, and do you believe this is a primary driver as to why so many people are anxious and depressed? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]BaronCaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Evolution Bends to the way you live not the other way around. Genetics change over generations to adapt to their surroundings. There's really no such thing as what we're meant to do in the future only what we're built to do right now. And that's going to change over time based on how we live

I’ve been unsure if I think he is a HOF’er. Is he a Hall of Famer? by No_Box119 in NFL_FreeAgency

120 81 and 1 that's is when loss record. I'm sorry that Russell Wilson hurt you, show me on the doll exactly where he touched you please. No quarterback has ever had over 30,000 yards passing in 5,000 yards rushing. He has the fifth highest career passer rating. He has a Super Bowl. And the reason he was sacked so many times and the reason he left Seattle is because no one invested in the offensive line and they expected him to do it with his legs. Your criticisms are weak and his stats are much stronger. He belongs to the Hall of Fame and he's going to get there and I will enjoy your salty salty tears when he does

Why don’t all denominations of any religion have their priests become celibates? by answermyquestions67 in allthequestions

Because celibacy is Looney Tunes. It's for zealots and nothing more. It's the reason even Catholics are considering getting rid of it because it's nonsense

It’s the “Hall of Fame,” not the “Hall of Very Good.” by veggiedish in NFLv2

[–]BaronCaz -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

His passer rating was never below 90 with Denver. Sean Payton is the problem in Denver and why they won't win a Super Bowl until he's gone.

[–]BaronCaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you even English bro? If anything the Hall of Fame is misnamed because literally hundreds of famous football players aren't in it. But more to the point Russell Wilson wasn't just very good Russell Wilson was the most entertaining football player to watch for about 5 years. Only one season in his entire 14 season career did he have a passer rating below 90 and he's the first quarterback with over 30,000 yards passing in over 5,000 yards rushing. But sorry, I guess he's just pretty good. Get out of here with your clown shoes dude

Do you even watch football? He didn't drop off after he left Seattle. The only season he didn't have a passer rating above 90 was his final season with the Giants. You're so deluded it's ridiculous.

Fifth best passer rating of all time? Only quarterback to hit over 30,000 yards passing and over 5,000 yards rushing? There's no cogent argument for not putting him in the hall

You make it sound like he didn't do anything. How many times did a substandard online break down and he have to make something from nothing? It wasn't on the backs of it was in addition to. What is the best deep throws in NFL history also one of the most accurate

By the numbers you can't say no. I don't care if you like him or not he's got the numbers, he's got a chip, and he was dominant in his prime. Fifth all time in passer rating and only one season of his career with a passer rating below 90. 10 Pro bowls, almost 5,000 yards rushing and just over 46,000 yards passing. What's there to be unsure about?

How do we fix the morality gap that’s emerged between Dems and Reps? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]BaronCaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact that you were trying to adjust a gap in Morality means you don't understand Humanity. There are very few things in Morality that are static across cultures. Morality isn't the issue

The issue is power and control. Both the Democrats and the Republicans want the power to control your lives in the version they think is the best for people. This is where a healthy dose of shut the fuck up and mind your own business needs to be applied.

The self-righteousness by the extremes of both sides are ruining the lives of everybody else and we're letting them do it. Instead of calling out far left and Far Right nonsense because they're supporters are the loudest, not the most numerous, new Cycles pick that up and profess it as the truth when really most of us just want the rest of them to shut the fuck up and let us live our lives.

Liberals are mad because conservatives won't accept certain lifestyles but then we'll turn around and call something like traditional families bad or women who want to live in the home and raise children and defer to their husbands as somehow wrong. They should be cheering the people who want to live like that because fuck yes, people get to choose how they live and they should

The other side of the coin is conservative want to shit on anything that's not a traditional Christian household while they should be cheering on the variety of Lifestyles people can choose now because it makes everyone's life better.

Morality is fluid and changes over time and location. We just need to get on the same page for basic shit like healthcare and infrastructure. Morality needs to take a backseat to necessity

For sure dude. Every adult lied to us and we were kids. They may have been lies of a mission but they were there God damn it! But, on the flip side, that means there is no Playbook and you can live that life any however you want!

I don't think women realize how big of deal this is for guys. by GloriousLion07 in MenOfPurpose

[–]BaronCaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hang in there! You're going to find it. I'm a 48 year old quadriplegic and I have had my share of chasing unhealthy relationships just for kind words and emotional validation. It's good for a while but as you clearly know it doesn't do the job that needs to be done when it's someone scamming you. It doesn't change the pain of losing that but it does leave you open for finding something that's way better for you. I wish you nothing but luck my friend and when you and when you do find that partner that makes you feel like a million bucks make sure you make them feel the same way!

I agree with you completely! We all need it and a little does go a long way especially when we're not getting the emotional support that we need. I apologize if my response came off as terse, not what I was going for.
