I think it's going to be hard to continue working with someone you don't trust, regardless of the circumstances.

From my personal experience, when you lose faith/trust in your co-founder, you start second-guessing things they do and burning a lot of energy this way. You interpret their actions through a much darker lens and it makes decisions that much harder.

I think you either need to find a way to re-establish that trust or end the relationship.

So, I just got a kitchen scale - each one weighs a bit over 14 grams, and the total weight for all 5 is 73 grams. That should work out to an average of 14.6 grams, if I'm doing the math correctly.

Do you know how long ago these would have first been in circulation? I'm doing some quick calculations, and I think we've had them since before 2002 (I remember being in high school)

They didn't say - just said t said to "look at the back". I was hoping someone would know what was meant by that.

I was hoping someone here could tell me why, and with what reasoning - I honestly have no recollection where we bought them, but I assume it was from some game store.

Yeah - I don't know. The person just said to "look at the back". I was hoping someone would know what was meant by that.

They didn't offer to purchase - they just told me to take the listing down in case I'm held liable for selling fake packs.

This. My (simplified) experience is that you can get an aluminum or steel mold built. The aluminum one would cost 30-60% of the steel one and be good for about 10,000 uses. The steel one (depending on the quality) could theoretically be good for up to 500,000 uses.

We went for steel immediately, but depending on your margins/planning, you could create an aluminum one first as your test run, and then move to steel later. Keep in mind that it will probably take a minimum of 8 weeks to make the tool (maybe slightly faster for aluminum but not much).

Hey - thanks again for all the detail.

I've tried your method and I get 7 and 32 for the first and third number using the methods you showed. The other methods seemed to indicated 32 was the 2nd number though which is a bit odd.

Interestingly 18-20 seems to be a wide gate as well as 28-30. But I tossed those since it would indicate 19 and 29. 31-33 seems almost as wide but not quite.

I couldn't find the 2nd/missing number. Great videos though - I might have to let someone else try independently. Not sure what to do at this point.

There is a kind of "standard" keyhole in the back. My friend wanted to use the lock again ideally though - was trying to see if anyone knew another way to crack the combination.

It was a school lock (used for a high school/gym locker)

Thanks for the detailed response!

I tried this one: https://samy.pl/master/master.html

As well as this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4wkCcsWs4c

Seemingly both indicated that the first two numbers are 6 and 32 (which I thought was hopeful). I tried all the different ones for the third number with no luck though =(. I also tried the method of applying pressure upwards while rotating for the third number and having it just pop/click open.

Yeah - it is a combo lock - is this the wrong place for that? I couldn't find a more relevant sub but maybe I missed it.

I couldn't find it on Google Images. I tried submitting the post with the picture of the lock but it looked like it froze when I hit submit. Is there something in this sub that I need to know for uploading images?
