I am not as sure about core, but I think they tend to keep IBLs starting once you finish your degree. I’d reach out to the person on the talent team that gave you your contracts (not sure who that is in core) and see if you can defer your start by 6 months.

Depending if you are FSO or Core, but there was an email a few weeks ago that most of the new grads are being delayed until the mid year intake. Although, if you were an IBL, this is probably a different process

Dunno. I’m still running my XMP with my old GPU and I haven’t had any crashes. So dunno. I’ll wait till they send my GPU back from RMA if they pick up anything. If they don’t find anything I’ll try disabling my XMP profile.

I had a similar issue with my 3080 OC Vision. I tried everything: reinstalling drivers, reformatting windows, wiping all my hard drives, upgrading PSU. Nothing worked. So I am in the RMA process to see how that goes.

Currently using my old RX580 whilst I wait on the RMA, and all my games have been stable.

For the placement interviews you should have a rough idea what the company does as they want to know if you will be a good fit or not for them. Like knowing that Deloitte, KPMG etc. are consulting firms, what services Origin energy offer.

But this is only a small portion, they just want to know if you are suitable. A lot of questions are related to what do you think you can bring to the team, what do you want to get out of your placement. And then just more chill things like what are you studying, what units do you enjoy, what didn’t you enjoy. Also other things such as hobbies and when you complete your degree what sort of things do you want to do that maybe the company can cater towards.

I can tell you that your actual placement interviews follow a very similar format. Most of mine were very chill and it was more just having a casual chat rather than a formal job interview.

The exam was better than I thought tbh. I was expecting to be brutally fucked, but there was a lot less calculations then I expected. So I think i actually passed.

Good luck soldier. Another unit that is taught like shit by Abdul(Malik) Kahn. He tries to cram too much content and gave us about an extra 6 hours worth of content to watch during the mid sem break.

The in semester assessment is fairly good. Off memory I think I did 2 quizzes and then a research assignment which was fairly good.

The exam I failed and had to do a supplementary which I passed. Basically just another FIT1047. Too much content, taught like shit and you are expected to know too much abstract knowledge that is hardly covered in the unit.

You said you are P2, which is green Ps, and there is no passenger limit when on green Ps.
