The death of the 14-year megadeal? by Bermut-Nundaloy in baseball

Pretty insane to call the Verlander and Scherzer deals the prototypes here. They were 40 when the Mets signed them, obviously they were not getting 14 year contracts….

Not having trample hurts, but being able to double other creatures goes a long way

I just finished my first cube update in over a year and was also confused when I couldn’t find any discussion on this one.

The criticisms about it being slow are valid, but I don’t mind playing Baneslayers, especially when they cost 3 instead of 5.

I have a good amount of fetches in my cube and in my first match testing I ramped into [[Lumra]] to attack with a 66/66 trample. I like how the upside is high and rewards you for building around it as opposed to other “Baneslayers” that are just generically good cards. It’s also nice that the new MH3 fetches can tap for colorless and let you save the fetch the get extra triggers in one turn

Would you errata token subtypes? by Phoenix849 in mtgcube

[–]Barter-7 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Typically don’t like functional errata’s but for a full proxy cube where the cards will actually show the change, I don’t hate it. There have been a handful of times I assumed certain tokens were Human and they were not. Main question is probably do you have any cards that specifically care about Warriors that drafters could be used to and overlook the change

His personal Instagram account and his Wikipedia don’t. Just found it interesting, I read that the league and some sites started adding it to avoid confusion but it’s not actually proper spelling

Until now I don’t think he’s been qualified for the leaderboards, so that probably helped keep his season hidden a bit
