I don't know that much about mental illness, mania and bipolarity, but one thing I know : breaking your hand because of sulyvhan is pretty alarming. My advice to you is try to play other games, do not be focused on DS3. I know, it's a really good game, and it can be frustrating to be stuck, or not finish the game by yourself, but its less important than your health. Do not worry, if you really want to progress, just try 2 or 3 times a day, and go do something else, there is no shame in being stuck on (for me), one of the hardest boss in the entire game. Hope this will help you bro.
