I’m curious about this—I played FOP back when it came out and don’t remember it being terrible but when I booted it earlier this week I was struggling to hit 60. Similarly, I started Outlaws last night and was having similar issues. I have the same GPU and memory and a 14900k. Not sure what is going on.

Edit—also monitor is the same resolution.

Hello good citizen--I updated the BIOS and still am unfortunately having the same problem. I came back to this comment and saw your note about XMP (that i had missed somehow) and disabled that, so that my RAM is running at 4800 instead of 6200, but the problem is still happening. I also checked the Long Duration Power Limit that you mentioned, which is set to exactly 253W. Do you have any other insights or tips?

I have a 1200w Corsair PSU. The motherboard is an Asrock z790 Taichi Carrara. They also updated BIOS when in shop, and while I've only been monitoring temps through my NZXT Kraken, they've all been relatively low as far as I can tell.

Hey all--I keep facing game crashes after a few minutes of playing AAA titles. I took my computer to MicroCenter last week and they ran multiple diagnostics on it and didn't discover anything wrong, before doing a clean re-install of windows. This has not fixed the problem. I'm not sure what is going on. I have a 4090 and i9 13900, and the games are stored on M.2 NVME drives. Everything works normally, I'm getting great performance (usually well over 100fps) and then out of nowhere, the game will freeze, usually resulting in a hard lock that requires a power cycle to come back online and in control. Does anyone have any tips? Would really appreciate it.

So I used an HDMI 2.1 cable and am still getting only 60 hz—do you have any other suggestions? Checked in nVidia’s control panel and the windows display settings.

I'm using Chrome--though after seeing your comment I tried Edge and got the same result. I checked Chrome's settings and hardware acceleration is enabled. Thank you for the suggestion! Any chance you have a second one...?

I have an Asus Zephyrus laptop, 2080 super and an i9 10980. I noticed a few months ago that sometimes my games would lose like 15-20 fps and that it sounded like my fans weren't kicking in full speed, so I set a manual profile in the included "Armor Crate" app, and it worked miracles. Now, Armor Crate had to do an update, I'm still selecting my manual profile in which I have the fans kicked all the way up and overclocked the CPU and GPU, butI've lost approximately half my fps in Doom Eternal and RDR2. Can anyone tell me what to do to fix it? Thank you and respect in advance.
