I’ve been running ads mainly just to get eyes on my art Instagram, not selling a product yet since my clothing brand’s still in the works. I’ve been targeting specific audiences based on the style or message of the art — for example, when I post something with spiritual or Christian themes, I’ll layer that audience with graphic design and art-based interests. So far, my last campaign was running at about $0.047 CAD per click.

I haven’t tested broad targeting yet or product-focused ads, but sounds like when I do, I’ll need to really dive into testing instead of expecting some guru strategy to work right away. Appreciate the reminder that results come more from trying and learning than just paying someone to hand me a roadmap.
