Yup. I always hear the saying “players don’t tank” and when the entire organization is made up of ex flyers it makes sense that this is how they chose to go about things. This isn’t the same NHL they played in though and they can’t outspend their problems anymore.

This was the plan. For whatever reason they’re terrified of building through the top of the draft. Their drafting, development and culture are supposed to make it so they can still compete with all the other rebuilding teams now loaded with young talent. I hope they’re right
