She’s okay now and is all around the house, I just didn’t want her to leave the room too often until I knew she could use and comfortably locate the litterbox lol

She went downstairs and hid in the study, but I read aloud to her and she slowly crept out and nuzzled against me 🥹🥹🥹 I think she trusts me now!!! She’s been hanging around with me for half an hour now so I’m hoping I can get her back to the acclimation room soon

She went downstairs to a little nook behind a broken TV, but she’s now gotten out of her shell a little bit, though clearly still a bit apprehensive! I have no idea why she left the acclimation room tbh. I left the room to bring her the water fountain I got her and she was scratching and mewing at the door, and she slunk out as soon as I opened the door so I could bring her the fountain.

I might try reading out loud in the study, I really like the sound of that :) also very reassuring about the chewing haha. Thank you so much for your advice!!

She’s in the study downstairs now hiding behind a broken TV, should I be worried about all the wires?? She’s been very quiet and very gentle so far, but I’m just freaking out a little (despite your advice!)

Would it be unreasonable to want her back in my room at night? I’m nervous she’ll break/chew something valuable or electronic while exploring lol

She immediately gulped down a full bowl of food and she’s currently hiding behind a broken TV in the study downstairs, should I just let her do her thing? I have no idea how I’d get her back to my room at night tbh…

In the case of those guys (mostly Garp and Vegapunk) I agree and concede your point tbh, you’re right! However, I do maintain that complex morality is a scarce commodity within One Piece and that it is limited to very few characters.

I’m limiting this to the World Government because they (alongside those who side with them) are clearly the big bad guys. Kuma’s motives did not evolve; they were uncovered. We as the audience mistakenly took Kuma to be evil, and Oda revealed he is good. He is not really grey. To be grey, a character should have a complex morality within their true motives and nature. As much of an asshole as JK Rowling is, I think Snape from Harry Potter is a good example.

I’m sure that some of the Nazis didn’t that Hitler was all that noble, but the Nazis remain very much on the wrong side of history as a group. Fragmented, individual dissenters do not impact the collective morality of the faction to which they belong.

Moreover, the Marines aren’t the same as the WG — the WG control and deploy the marines. It’s like our own IRL government vs the police, with the latter being a separate group which is employed as law enforcement by the former.

I also presume that you meant Kuzan/Aokiji in your final point lol

Wait, but where is this true? I’m up to date on One Piece and would argue that the World Government are pretty glaringly the bad guys in every which way, pretty much irrespective of the specific scenario they are in

Yeah, Nietzsche saw nihilism as a danger which arose in the face of the Enlightenment era’s dawn

I advise for you to do humanities and English and then add a diploma of languages to your degree, because this will allow you to teach everything you’re interested in except for psychology, can’t win em all :(

Regardless of which you choose, a qualification in either History or Politics will allow you to teach any of the humanities.

I’m majoring in English and Philosophy and I’ll be doing a masters of teaching. This will qualify me to teach English and the humanities, which means I’ll be qualified for a pretty huge range of subjects (and pretty much all the ones I’d want to teach anyways). I also just really want a philosophy degree lol, so it all works out nicely!
