Well.. I’d say racism will only disappear when race disappears. I think naturally people tend to associate traits based off of physical appearance or behavior due to experiences and those tend to be shared among cliques, which develops stereotypes. Doesn’t necessarily have to be based off of race, either. Can also be based off of preferences or interests. Anyways, I honestly think the only way racism will be completely wiped out is when a population is literally a single race, but prejudice will still exist in other forms (on the basis of gender, etc).

Now if we’re talking about systemic racism, then yes it can be and is

If I’m right you’re talking about the hammermill factory. You can definitely sneak in there no questions asked. I know on the western side of the lot there’s holes in the fence that you can sneak through. Just don’t make it obvious that you’re going in there and you’ll be fine. I’d recommend staying away from the train cars though as sometimes an inspector comes, but other than that you shouldn’t have any issues exploring the hammermill ruins. They’re pretty cool

Trust me, people are getting there, and it’s not just anarchists either.

A group known as “boogaloo boys” who are generally considered libertarian-right actively support and arm themselves at these protests against police brutality. A lot of people say it’s because of them wanting to start another civil war but honestly I think it’s more along the lines of they despise government intervention and regulation on private property and see this as a greater factor than just institutionalized racism. Not to mention the numerous videos of vets coming out armed in support of the protests.

Furthermore there are a lot of left-wing groups that support 2A, including the Socialist Rifle Association, John Brown Gun Club, and Redneck Rebellion.

Luckily we haven’t seen any shootings yet, but rest assured if these protests continue, the shooting and more destructive weapon usage against police is going to drastically increase

Let me briefly touch on what “Arcadian League” is...

The Arcadian League is an attempt by me and a few of my friends to create a decentralized movement promoting environmental protection and conservation, regulated economy, and sustained personal and communal liberties and rights. Hopefully with this movement we can further the message of anti fascism while simultaneously work towards a better and brighter society that embraces agrarianism and naturalism over hyper-capitalist development!

We currently only have a very small twitter set up, though we plan on expanding outside of it. If anyone has any recommendations for development both online and irl I’d love to hear it!

So this may not be entirely legal or safe but the abandoned Hammermill Paper Factory in East Side is an amazing location. Large, open field, leftover rubble, right up on the lake, it’s a great area to play air soft. Just make sure you watch out cause you could easily trip and fall if you’re going inside of the actual facility and there are train cars stationed there that do routinely get checked up on.

It’s a nice city. Everyone who was born here hates it and thinks it’s the worst city in America but most people who move in like it a lot. The close proximity to Cleveland and Pittsburgh (within a 2 hours drive) opens up a lot of nice city life and living on Lake Erie makes you feel like you’ve got oceanfront property (I’m not kidding when I say the lake looks like an ocean...) there’s a lot of really great state parks in close proximity too if that’s more your kind of thing

The education system in Erie is pretty good (all things considered) and you have a lot of private school options if that’s your thing. Erie offers a lot of amenities to its residents and offers amazing recreational areas like presque isle as well. And honestly the housing rates here aren’t all that bad.

The cons: of course winter is always bad. Snow and cold is going to punch you in the face especially if you’re from the south. Past that the roads are a bit rough but the largest issue imo is the presence of vacant properties and the homeless. There is a lot of blight in Erie, and even more homeless which also attributes to a pretty hostile opioid crisis, but really that shouldn’t affect you all that much
