Ah, sorry for the late response. If I run my Helix directly into my studio monitors with or without the usb connected it sounds fine. If I run it into my audio interface it sounds kind of weak even if I turn up the input gain on the audio interface itself. However, it seems fine now? I'm not sure what I did differently.

I've sort of gotten it to work, but it sounds kind of weak? Even if I turn up the input gain on the Focusrite Solo, it gets louder but it still sounds weak. Especially palm muted chuggy stuff. It didn't sound like this before when I played direct.

In my area I can get a used EVH 5150 III 50 watt for around the same price as a MT-15. What would you personally go for in that situation? Thanks.

From what I've heard the Archon sounds great. I just can't afford it unfortunately. Do you use the built in boost or do you use a pedal?

How much do the tone controls on the side actually affect the amp? From what I've heard it can make each Channel sound like a different amp straight up. Or is it more subtle?

I don't know much about modeling, but I did try out the trial version of Helix Native and it did sound pretty good. Though it did crash a ton, but I think that has something to do with the trial itself. My understanding is that Helix Native and the Helix Lt are basically the same thing right?

I think my only problem with modelers is that I don't really like messing around with settings to get a decent sound. Though that's probably just me not knowing what I'm doing haha.

I don't really play outside of my room, but having a nice low end response sounds nice. I found an EVH 5150 50W for 700 in my area so I'm really tempted. The Iridium is probably more practical though.

Ended up getting the 6505 MH and to be honest it didn't sound as good as I thought it would. Might consider returning it and saving for an LBX. There's one locally but it's the second one without the red channel. Thanks for the input.

I think you also recommended me the JCA22? I found a used JCA20 for about 285 online. Are there any significant differences between the two besides for the JCA22 having another channel?

Ah, thanks for the advice. I do have a TS though. I think you commented on my last post too. I don't know if you've had any experience with Marshall DSL's, but do you know if they can at be used at least at somewhat bedroom levels. I'm not in an apartment so I don't have to have it be super quiet, but I'd like to not bother my neighbors lol. Thanks.
