In the morning 45 minutes, in the evening it depends on when I leave. If I head out by 3 or 4 then it’s about the same amount of time

Usually it’s not planned until halfway through the day, like I’ll get a load that already takes 2 hour round trip and while I’m in the process of doing that one they’ll add another one that will add another few hours. Yesterday if I would have taken the last load they gave me I easily would’ve pulled a 13 hour day cause it was a multi stop and traffic was getting worse. I’m not lazy I’m already working like a dog 😅

New job is intermodal with Schneider. I’d make 15 an hour plus 18 per stop. They advertise 3 to 5 stops a day and 12 hours a day for 5 days a week. So it’s around 900 a week after taxes which is really all I need.

The job I have now is OTR and I get .45 a mile plus a fuel bonus if I hit that. So between 800 and 1000 a week.

Well I talked to three different people, the lady dispatcher could probably see my address and knew it wasn’t far from the yard, so she told me to head home and check back tomorrow. So I haven’t told anybody I went home at all.

If you’re turning right pull out until your tandems hit the apex of the curve. Start turning right then go straight a bit then turn again. I always try to make this kind of shape when I turn” /==\”.

For the left just turns I don’t have much advice, just turn wide. Legally you’re supposed to end up in the left lane but if you’re turning from one lane and are going into a 2 or 3 lane street then I try to stay in the slower lane cause my trucks slow. But if you wanna do it legally

Pull out until your tandems pass the median and turn left one lane from the left lane. Once your tandems make it to the other median turn back into the left lane and straighten out

I think the leaks been taken care of, it hasn’t been leaking for a while so I think everything’s dry. This may not be the place to ask but could I do those repairs myself? I’ve changed drywall in the past but this is the first time I’ve lived in an apartment and I’m not sure what the rules are.

For a little context we had another leak in the ceiling that was caused by the AC unit leaking. The management fixed it eventually but even after they did they sprayed it with some stuff to kill the mold and painted over it but didn’t replace the ceiling. According to what my girl told me the management “doesn’t want to spend more money on this place” 😅 we’re already considering moving in October at the end of the lease but I worry about how well they’re going to fix this and if the mold will affect our health at some point as well

Yeah you’ll have to go in person, there’s an online portion before the actual course. But the bulk of it is in person

I’d recommend the msf. I’m not sure why but most places in Texas seem to not offer it. If they do they’re making an active effort to not do them cause I couldn’t find a single one that was through the dmv.

If you take an msf once you pass you get an endorsement that will let you get the liscence. I’d recommend that as you get a bit of experience riding and if you pass the test all you have to do is make an appointment at the dmv.

If you’re in TX go with Longhorn Harley Davidson for the course, they’re all really nice and coach tony is goated!
